We at PB GREEN are trying to do our little part to reduce waste and recycle. we pack our lunch each day and realized how many baggies and lunch wrappings we simply threw into the trash. They could be used again, we thought. But it was not fun trying to rinse and reuse those baggies. When we thought about it, we used at least 3 baggies a day, 5 days a week --- 15 bags a week each --- times 50 weeks in a year.. WOW!! That's 750 bags that each one of us throws out without a thought.
And for a family of four that could be --- 3,000 plastic bags in the trash!!!
We wanted to find a better way to reduce our lunchtime trash. So we did.
